Friday 18 April
This year’s Triton Golf Challenge will take place in the scenic and challenging surroundings of Real Golf De Bendinat. Only 7km from Palma, the Bendinat area is one of the best addresses in Palma and the golf club epitomises that same sophistication and style. The ‘Real’ (or Royal) connection comes about because the King of Spain is a regular visitor.
Golfers of all levels will thoroughly enjoy Bendinat. Whilst it is not long (at only 5,660 metres), the undulating terrain and spectacular views across the Bay of Palma make this a very challenging and unique golfing experience. Because of the terrain, buggies are recommended but not mandatory.
Tee times will be between 07:45 and 09:00 and the tournament will be limited to 54 players – so book early to avoid disappointment!
Buggies: 40 Euros Club Hire: 20 Euros
Both payable on the day. Please advise on club hire reservation when booking
As demand will be high and places limited, we request that all players send a small charity donation cheque for £50 made payable to Association Charity Golf in order to secure their participation in the tournament. This is to minimise no-shows on the day of the event. Donation cheques will only be cashed if players do not play on the day.
Further information about the charity and what they have achieved for disabled and disadvantaged children in Mallorca can be found at www.charity-golf.com

Wine tasting and tapas
This excursion will visit two wine cellars in the Binissalem and Pla i Llevant areas, where you’ll taste the magnificent wines from the island of Mallorca. A tapas lunch will be included.
The two wine cellars have been chosen because they’re featured on the ‘agro routes’ set up by the local government for the visitors to discover the island’s wines and gastronomy.
Binissalem: outstanding, distinguished red, rosé, white and sparklingly wines. They‘re mainly produced using grapes from the local Manto Negro and Moll varieties. The red wines have a high alcohol content and strong personality, and they are full-bodied, well-balanced and suitable for aging. The white wines are exceptional, delicate and fruity.
Pla i llevant: red, rosé, white, sparkling, semi-sparkling and liqueur wines with an excellent reputation. The wines are made from the following varieties of red grape: Callet, Fogoneu, Ull de llebre, Manto Negro, Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Pinot Noir; and the following white varieties: Chardonnay, Moll, Macabeo, Parellada, Moscatell and Riesling.

Valldemossa and Costa Nord
You’ll visit the charming village of Valldemossa on the north of the island in a valley of the Tramuntana mountains. The village is surrounded with lush vegetation and streams. Its unique, narrow stone streets provide it with a strong personality.
The visit will include a visit to the Royal Carthusian, the village´s main attraction thanks to the memory of the winter 1838-39 – both Chopín and George Sand stayed at the Carthusian and found inspiration on the beauty of the village.
A visit to the Costa Nord cultural centre will also be arranged. Costa Nord is situated in the centre of Valldemossa and serves as the headquarters of the Foundation for a Sustainable Balearics. It was set up on the initiative of actor Michael Douglas, who, when arriving in Mallorca, discovered the charm of the north coast of the Island. This project attempts to transmit the attraction the landscape has for writers, artists, musicians, and thinkers.
